PH house – restoration at its best

PH house is a historic villa located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The house used to be inhabited by the renowned Danish architect, designer and cultural critic, Poul Henningsen and a part of it was destroyed after a devastating fire. Norm architects have restored and rebuilt this villa as a residence for a family of three. The result is an elegant modern house with references to its past.

Plenty of big windows add light in the house and the parquet floor adds warmth and elegance. However the highlight of this historic villa is the kitchen area with the island and the retro PH lamps hanging over it. It is so beautiful and I think everyone would love a space like that in their own house….

Hi! I am an architect who loves interior design. I created this digital space so that I could share with you my love for simplicity, Scandinavian minimalism and beauty in general. It is a place where architecture meets art, fashion and functionality. A place where I love to lay down and dream. Welcome to my home.
